Amazing Grace Sunday

This year is the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade. But the work of justice and mercy continues. 27 million men, women, and children are still enslaved around the globe. Join churches around the globe in singing Amazing Grace and in praying for the end of slavery once and for all. Amazing Grace Sunday is taking place February 18, the Sunday before the “Amazing Grace” movie is released. The goal of Amazing Grace Sunday is for churches across the globe to unite on this specific Sunday praying for the end of modern-day slavery – and to join together in singing this great song of worship!

While not a Christian, I agree that we should work to end slavery in all its forms. It's good to read about American churches focusing on issues that can alleviate suffering. Hope all continues to go well for you!
